There are semiconductors of certain materials. Their electrical resistance has to be somewhere between that of a conductor and a non-conductor. Whims of temperature or the part of dashes also influence the resistance.
The word “dashes” means the other substances mixed to the material. Semi-conductors are labeled as diodes of type-n or type-t according to the kind of complete material.
The combination of type-n and type-t semiconductors is necessary to make diodes and transistors. It’s known that these days the most actual substance for semiconductor production is silicon.
Semiconductor material is applied to produce diodes which are for keeping the stream of electrical current only in one direction. There is a piece of (positive) construction, - (negative) combination and so-called pn-transfer fixed as barrier level in every diode. Diodes create electrical circuits transforming among direct and alternating current. Only half of the processes or cycle is to be completed because diodes make current flow only in one direction. Specialists name such a junction a rectifier.
Concerning the light diodes known as LED, they are necessary to get light at little voltages not producing heat. In PC, video cameras and cell telephones, different equipment today one can see LED diodes as those diodes are applied to signal the idle mode.
Moore’s law gave way to the development of thyristors manufactures. Lithography is the main factor of manufacturing complicated power semiconductor gadgets at lower price. As for optical lithography, it eventually leads to the increase of alternate technologies as it has come to its physical limit. These days ultraviolet lithography and nano-imprint lithography are supposed to be the most suitable substitutes to optical method. There are more suitable methods.
